IYSA Select Team Program Overview
IYSA Select Soccer offers committed players the opportunity to train and compete at a higher level in a supportive, challenging and team focused environment. Select teams are formed through tryouts and play in competitive leagues and tournaments across the region.
Our program is designed for players who want to develop their abilities beyond recreational play. Select Soccer requires a greater commitment of time, effort and focus but it's also a deeply rewarding experience where athletes grow on and off the field.

Year-Round Development
IYSA Select Soccer follows a year-round model with flexibility for multi-sport athletes during fall and winter. Spring is our most competitive season and thus, full participation during that season is required.

Tryouts
Tryouts take place in June for the following year. Players must register for tryouts through our website when they open. Evaluations are made by IYSA coaches to determine team placement. Players not selected for a Select team are encouraged to continue developing through IYSA Club Soccer and training programs.
