2024 Spring Select Teams (Tryout info)

IYSA will be holding select team tryouts between January 22nd and 25th (full schedule below) for our spring Thruway, State Cup & Tournament teams. We will have select teams in all age groups from u10 through u16. The select teams will offer an elite travel soccer experience playing against the best teams in the region. The teams will compete in the NYS Thruway league against the top teams in Western, NY.

NOTE: IYSA will continue to run our standard spring programs for all age groups and skill levels

Dates & Times:

Location: Lansing Indoor Fields @ (1767 East Shore Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850)
Register today to lock in a place at tryouts; If your player is unable to attend due to a conflict please go ahead and register your player and we will arrange for an alternative time.

Program Information

Pre-Season Practices: Select team practices will begin in February and will have a minimum of 1 practice a week leading up to the spring season (practice times to be defined based on player availability)
Season Practices: Minimum of 3 practices per week (2 as part of the spring program and 1 extra for the select teams)
Tournaments: 2 tournaments; Tournament fees are covered as part of the registration costs; Hotel expenses are not covered
Games: Select teams have been placed in the Thruway league and some have been signed up for state cup play. The select teams will have a minimum of 10 games
Registration Costs:
- U10 - $175 + standard spring registration costs
- U11 - $175 + standard spring registration costs
- U12 - $225 + standard spring registration costs
- U14 - $250 + standard spring registration costs
- U16 - $250 + standard spring registration costs
- U19 - $250 + standard spring registration costs
